Gerard is a qualified CA (SA) and the Director of GA Mac Lachlan Inc.
Lizl Büchner
Audit and Practice Manager
Lizl has completed her B-Compt degree while doing her SAICA articles. After gaining valuable post-article experience at other audit firms, Lizl joined our team in April 2004. Since, she has completed her B-Compt (Hons) degree. Lizl is our audit and practice manager and responsible for training of new staff members.
Deidre Smith
Audit Clerk
Deidre joined our audit team in June 2011. She has gained valuable experience at other firms before she joined our team. She is currently studying towards a National Diploma in Management : Financial Accounting.
Marijke Slabber
Audit Clerk
Marijke joined our audit team in March 2019 after finishing her three years of SAICA articles. She obtained her B-Compt (Hons) in March 2019 and is currently studying towards her CA(SA) qualification.
Andrea van Niekerk
Audit Clerk
Andrea obtained her BAcc degree at Stellenbosch University. She completed her SAICA articles in 2022 and joined our audit team in June 2023.
Janine Gerber
Tax Compliance
Janine studied Bcom Accounting through the University of Stellenbosch. Before joining our team in October 2012 she has completed two years of the SAICA articles. Janine has a passion for people and commenced her part time studies in Human Resourcing Management in 2013. She is head of our tax department and responsible for all the interaction between our clients and SARS.
Lee-Ann Sawers
Monthly Accounting Services
Lee-Ann obtained her National Diploma in Financial Management in 2008 through South Cape College. She joined our Monthly Accounting Department in August 2014 after gaining experience at other firms.
Carisa Lotz
Monthly Accounting Services
Carisa joined our monthly accounting department in March 2017 after she has gained valuable experience at other firms. She is currently studying towards a B-Compt Degree in Accounting and has completed her SAIPA articles in 2016.
Emma Kotze
Monthly Accounting Services
Emma joined our monthly accounting department in January 2023 after completing her SAIPA articles in 2022. She is currently studying towards a B-Compt Degree in Accounting.
Linda Basson
Practice Admin Manager
Linda joined our team in January 2019. She is responsible for the admin of our practice and debtor accounts.
Zania Stapelberg
Secretarial Compliance Officer
Zania joined our team in May 2007 as Gerard's Personal Assistant. She has completed her BA degree part-time through Unisa. Zania is also our Company Secretarial Compliance Officer dealing exclusively with CIPC for all MOI changes, company registrations, annual returns and all other company secretarial changes
